Excellent comic > Forgettable film > Excellent soundtrack. That's my summary of Jonah Hex as a franchise.My summary of Jonah Hex as a six-track soundtrack EP brought to us by Italian composer Marco Beltrami and Mastodon is thus; it is Mastodon's best work since Leviathan. I haven't heard the new album yet but I don't expect it to be as good as this. Seriously download this, you don't need to have seen the film to enjoy it. In fact, you probably just shouldn't see the film.
